The day I ate a Possum!

"Happy Birthday to me!"I was up with the Currawongs ready for the builders....but they didn't come.It seems the carpenter's wife was having a baby......I think I've heard that story before......anyway he was otherwise engaged and no work was done today.I made my own birthday cake....another chocolate orange drizzle....my third. Well, it was not really for me....Dulcie only has two biscuits left from the last batch I made and so I thought I would give her some cake for a change.The first thing she said to me as I walked into the  hospital today was;"Happy Birthday Nick!"I was really touched that she had remembered because these days she can ask us 3 times what we are having for tea in about a 10 minute period.Two birthday cards arrived this afternoon......Well done Mum and Barbara....that was excellent timing!Will whisked me off to 'Tukka' tonight for his present to me.
