Bald Rock National Park

Today we drove about 45 minutes from Frogknot to the Bald Rock National Park. We needed a little exercise after being fairly house bound these past weeks.Bald Rock is 750 metres long, 500 metres wide and 250 metres high and it is the largest exposed granite dome in the southern hemisphere.We climbed up via the Bungoona walk....'bungoona' is the Aboriginal word for 'good' and returned back down the face of the rock.We had it all to ourselves.It was actually 'awesome'!
