Odds and ends

After months of research Will has a new phone....a Moto X......with which he is very happy. He talks to it and it does things, like tell him the time or the weather...it will even write and send texts for him.He came home the other day with an Iphone that was at his work in the role play area for the children to play with......it still works! It tells you something of the area his Kindergarten is in if people can pass on working Iphones for the children to bury in the sand tray.He is going to to take one of his old, broken phones to replace it, and I am using the Iphone now.....it is an old one.....a 3 something, I think.We went back to the Botanic Garden yesterday and walked through the Rainforest part....it was lovely but full of mosquitoes.

Dulcie walked a long way before getting in the wheel chair and it was only then that we noticed that the foot rests were missing. We had to cut short our trip because of it. We had an ice cream and headed back, calling off on the way home for a car wash for Roxy. Roxy is looking good. She has 4 new tyres thanks to Wendi, who bought them for Will for his birthday. 

 

We had a big clear out of the garage today as Trace and Jen are coming on Tuesday and they would not have been able to get their van in there.

Tidying up the pergola I found this lurking in the folded up barbecue cover...

We are looking forward to seeing Trace and Jen and to next week when Shirley is coming for a week and Will and I are hoping to get away for a few days camping.
