Incidentals.

We were watching 'Who wants to be a Millionaire' tonight and the woman who got to the final question wanted to win the remaining $20,000 dollars so she could send her husband back to the UK."A one way ticket or will he be allowed back?" joked Eddie, the host."Oh, he can come back," she said. "His best friend over there is undergoing treatment and it would be nice for him to visit him," she said."Whereabouts are you from?" Asked Eddie of the husband sitting in the audience." The north of England," he said, "A little place called Wigton." Our ears pricked up.I should have recognised the accent. It took me back. The final question was 'What hit did the Mamas and the Papas have in 1966?'We were willing the woman to pick 'A', 'Monday, Monday' so the chap could go back and see his sick friend...but she picked 'B', 'Ruby Tuesday.'Silly idiot! On the news at 6.00 pm, a little girl had gone missing in the bush. Dulcie shook her head in disbelief. Two little lads went missing the other day but they found them eventually, luckily. Australian parents need to be more watchful! They found the girl today too after a couple of hours....she had wandered off after her dogs. She looked about two.Her name was Dixie Hardbuckle............no wonder she ran away!
