Thirsty Roxy.
So..... ...we have been finding that we have to top up Roxy's radiator quite regularly with water to stop her from over heating.....and she has begun to start quite sluggishly.......we are no mechanics but suspect that it could be the head gasket.Yesterday after a sluggish start I rang Udi, the German mechanic that we have always taken her to, before I went in to face the Student Dentist. Udi's wife answered. It was very strange talking with an elderly German lady who seemed quite knowledgeable about head gaskets. She couldn't fit us in before next Thursday but suggested that we drop in if we were passing to allow her husband to have a look and a listen. We called in today. Udi had a listen and a look and suggested something called 'Seal Up', a liquid that we put into the radiator which will 'seal up' any cracks in the system........if that does not work are looking at repairing the head gasket, a new engine or even having to replace Roxy!
