The Fanning Decision.

So.......after another phone call to the hospital this morning to find out what was happening.....I eventually received the call I was waiting for 15 minutes later.Dr Fanning apologised for not getting back to me yesterday as he had become caught up in other matters.He discussed my scans with his colleagues and they agreed that whatever it was on my lung had increased in size over time and yet had not shown up on the PET scan. As 'it' was of a fairly large size they all agreed that they felt the best course of action was surgery.Dr Fanning is referring me to a thoracic surgeon....I should hear something in a few weeks.'Lions and Tigers and Gamma Knives, Oh my!'
