The Frogknot laundry.

So....a few weeks back , before we went to Canberra we tried the washing machine we brought from Celtis St. We managed to get through one wash though it was a bit stop start as the power kept cutting out with the strain on the power supply......well, we do only have a car battery to store what power we get from the solar panels.Anyway, since that time we have had power problems with the power running out before it used to. Switching on the tap seems to be triggering it as the pump from the dam pushes the inverter over the edge.We were half way through an episode of The Good Wife last night and 'click' off it went. We do have solar powered lighting in the lounge so we are not plunged into darkness.Anyway, to get back to the point of all this, we have built up quite a pile of washing since before Canberra and it needed to be done so today I headed into Stanthorpe to the Laundromat there. It took four washing machines to fit it all in and cost $23, about £11 but it was great to get it all clean again. This was the sight at Frogknot this afternoon...
We had to put up extra lines to fit it all on.The rest of the afternoon was spent making a start on tidying all the tools, building materials and gardening accoutrements in the cupboards at the back of the house. How's this for a job?....DSCF1397 (Medium)Sorting screws into sets... I know, is it really necessary? Well, we think so and once it is all done we will know where to find everything we need.DSCF1398 (Medium)The International Space Station flew over again tonight....I've forgotten thingy's name , the British Astronaut...his 15 minutes must be up.
