Gotcha!

So....just before midnight last night, just as I had finally slipped off to sleep...we caught a rat in the rat trap.It rattled about trying to get out so Will had to take it outside and leave it there until morning. He said it was quite a big one. He is out cheese making but I assume he took the trap with him this morning and released it's occupant far, far away.The mouse traps have caught nothing but I did briefly catch one this morning rustling in the bread wrapper. I grabbed the end of the bag but it wriggled out and was off. I saw another dashing under the shelves a bit later while I was cleaning.I will give our humane traps a bit more time....perhaps these mice are like me and do not like cheese....but they seem to love the washing up sponge!....I think I would rather eat that too.There is no accounting for taste.
