To Briz and back.

So... we made an impromptu visit to Brisbane yesterday  and came back today.We managed a cinema visit whilst there and saw 'A Bigger Splash'....I hated it, but Will thought it was interesting. I just hated everyone in it as the characters had very few redeeming features and were all thoroughly unlikeable, I hated the music and the way it was directed. Whinge, whinge, moan, moan.We went to Celtis St today and picked up the final load of plants that we are taking from the garden. It is now on the market and has a huge 'For Sale' board outside it. There was an Open House this past weekend and about 8 different couples visited, according to the neighbours, but they also told us that a lot of people have just been turning up and having a snoop around the outside too.Here is a link to the online ad...7 Celtis St - Realestate.comWe arrived back today just after lunchtime and called in at the Glen Aplin Garage to see Orazio. Roxy was there last week to sort the overheating problem but she was heating up again today on our journey back. It seems that the problem is as we suspected the water pump so she is booked in again on Monday to get that fixed.We arrived home to find one mouse fatality which the chickens fought over amusingly. The poor dead animal made about three laps of the 'chook' pen hanging from various different beaks before disappearing into a gullet.The chickens seem well settled and have been locked away at night and released in the morning by our neighbours boys while we have been away.The four Pekin pullets now have names and we call them the 'Mu Sisters' as they are Chuangmu, Longmu, Doumu and Wusheng Laomu.They pretty much huddle together most of the time and don't like to leave the shed and explore like the others.They are all pretty young so we are not expecting any eggs for a while yet.The up to the minute vermin count is:5 rats....1 escaped, 4 relocated.6 mice...2 dead, 4 relocated.
