Brexit!

So...I am trying to arrange to cast my vote in the upcoming referendum on whether Britain should leave or stay in the E.U.. My first attempt failed because they said that my date of birth and national insurance number did not match and following my second attempt I was told"On checking on your registration applications we are unable to find you both on the electoral register here in Eden on the date stated as leaving the UK and at the address given."I tried to ring Caroline, the woman who had emailed me but the number she provided did not work and when I rang Eden District Council the woman I spoke to was most unhelpful, and didn't know where Caroline was or when she would be back and it would seem that there was nobody else available with whom I was able to discuss the matter with.I emailed Caroline and she is away until Monday...having a long weekend away?In the meantime time is running out for me to get all this sorted!
