Life goes on.

So...I still feel sick in my stomach about the fire and we are constantly thinking of our neighbours. Yesterday, as fairly usual, we heard the sound of music drifting across from theirs as they sifted through the remains of their home. On our way out to dinner and cards at Bent Road Winery yesterday evening we bumped into the neighbours eldest son on his mini motorbike down by the gate."I am wearing underpants," he said, making us laugh, as he appeared to be sitting there barefoot and in just a t shirt. "We have just come down for our showers," he said. (Dave and Jen have built a holiday rental at the bottom of their drive so, luckily, have somewhere to bathe and cook.)"Are you staying here tonight?" I asked as I knew the boys had been with their Grandparents the previous night."Yes," he said, "we have our tents up in the shed."Will and I have been knocked for six by the events of Sunday and it was not our home. How amazing they all are, staying together at home after all that has happened and just facing it and getting on with it.Life goes on.Some recent visitors...
