Boxing Day at Shark Bay.

So...today we went for a swim at Shark Bay, Iluka.  I did raise the point that it didn't sound like the best place to get wet but was assured it was a safe place to swim.Our trip was not without incident however as I foolishly managed to lose my phone. I suspect that it was in the pocket of my swim shorts when I entered the water and fell out soon after.Years ago, in Fiji, I did the same thing with my then camera. There the sea offered me a beautiful conch shell as compensation but I rejected it and cast it back crying, "No! I just want my camera!" and immediately discovered it lying on the sea bed at my feet.  Today however I was not so lucky, despite wading back and forth, and returning later after the tide had receded, in the hope of retrieving it. I had to concede it was gone.It now rests with the sharks of Shark Bay.
