Amazing!
So...yesterday I came across something I've never seen here before...
...a long necked turtle obviously scraping a hole in the dam wall to lay her eggs! It seems they can take between 3 and 8 months to hatch though so doubt we catch that!
Update!
So...we have been away for the weekend and got back today to find the eggs had been dug up and destroyed by some unknown creature! I am so upset because I was going to fence the site off to avoid such an outcome but didn't find time before we left. I doubt I'll ever come across this event again. It's so very sad.
Having a Field Day!
So... on the final day of the residency Will, Tracy and Rochelle were part of a 'Field Day' at the first regenerative farm that they stayed at. There were about 30 attendees who came to hear about regenerative farming and see the work that the artists had created...
