Oz Lotto Winners?

Will woke me with the news that the ceiling of the Apollo Theatre in London had collapsed on the audience during a performance of 'The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night.' I had bought Josh and Helena tickets to see it for Christmas. They were supposed to be going tomorrow...Saturday! Such an awful thing to happen. The whitening of the wardrobes was completed today and we hung the clothes that had cruised across the World to be with us. We bought 60 coat hangers in readiness yesterday but ran out and needed to go get some more.We had lunch then chose the numbers for Oz Lotto on Saturday, placing the lotto slip on the lucky sugar loaf cabbage.

Surely we will win!

We headed to Sunnybank...I love Sunnybank Mall...it's like being in Hong Kong but without the smog. We bought 72 more coat hangers! I have to say I only needed 24 of them while Will needed the rest. Being the Imelda Marcos of Acacia Ridge, Will wanted a quick look at the shoes. We found a pair of old shoes that someone had hung back on the rack after coming in and walking out wearing a new pair!

On the way home Will noticed Roxy was overheating when we stopped at traffic lights so we bought some coolant. We are hoping that adding some will solve the problem. We don't need car trouble. This afternoon we mulched another vegetable bed in the garden in readiness for planting some potatoes.

We found some lizard eggs in the soil and I carefully relocated them.

We are off into the wilderness for the next few days. No, not up to Frogknot. Now that our camping gear has arrived we are going for a few days to the Bunya Mountains National Park from tomorrow until Tuesday. Here is a link to the web page about it:http://www.nprsr.qld.gov.au/parks/bunya-mountains/I doubt there will be any phone signal up there so no internet connection and therefore no 'Possum Galore.' But, you never know. I will be back Christmas Eve...if not before.
