Dulcie's Birthday.

(Warning for Vegetarian readers....This post contains ‘Roast Pork’.)Dulcie is 91 today.The phone has rung all day with family and friends wishing her a happy birthday.We were up late. Julie from Blue Care was already here when we went up. We gave Dulcie our card.

You can imagine what happens when you open it....

She thought it was very funny.This evening Wendi, Geoff and Danny came for tea.Will cooked roast pork, with roasted vegetables tossed in couscous, roast potatoes and pumpkin.Wendi brought mini pavlovas, fresh fruit and cream for dessert.It was a feast.Dulcie had a lovely day. We did not play cards tonight as it was 9.00 pm when everyone left.“Good God!” she said seeing the clock, and she hurried off to bed.
