Southbank Sunday.

We spent most of the day today at the Southbank in Brisbane.First we wandered through the market, listened to the musicians and discovered the potato tornado!

I have never seen one before but what a great idea! We didn't get one but I would like to try one sometime.

We went for a swim at the 'beach' on the Southbank. The water was much cooler than the sea here and in Fiji that we have swum in recently but once we were in it was fine.

We had some lunch surrounded by ibises and then went on the Brisbane Wheel. We had a gondola all to our selves and travelled around five times. Will did not enjoy it that much and did not appreciate me rocking it when we stopped at the top.

We then wandered down to the Gallery of Modern Art. Phoebe and Will went down to the children's art area and I had a wander about the galleries.

We wandered back and had an ice cream before heading back home.
