Sandgate.

Today we had a trip out to Sandgate....we did not choose the best time to go...as we ended up in a traffic jam on the Gateway Motorway.We had a walk along the sea front, dodging the waves that were splashing over onto the walkway.We wanted to walk out along the Shorncliff Pier but foound out when we got there that it has been closed for renovation and will not be open until 2016.We had a fish and chip supper at Doug's Seafood Cafe."That was a lovely day," said Dulcie, " except for that bloody wind. I hate wind. I could never live in Maleny because of the wind. Did you know that they can't keep pigs in Maleny?...it's too cold because of the wind."
